What do we treat

Have you been told that:

“You have the worst __(spine, neck, knee, ankle, etc.)_______ I’ve ever seen!”

“Your pain is (arthritis, from getting old, or degenerative disc disease) and you have to live with it?

“Your pain is all in your head?”

“Your (insert joint here) looks like it just crumbled on this X-ray”

“Your only option left is surgery?”

Research shows that just because your imaging (including X-rays, MRI’s, and CT scans) shows certain conditions, many of these are treatable with conservative care. You just haven’t found the right care or approach yet. Imaging is actually POORLY correlated with symptoms and is not good for diagnosis. Imaging is used in the medical field to RULE OUT conditions. Unfortunately many people in the healthcare field don’t educate patients appropriately on this.
